Frequently Asked Questions

All drivers must be turning 16 during the racing schedule to obtain a license and compete in the Formula 1200 Championship. All drivers 45+ are also part of a Masters Championship.

Mandatory equipment for drivers are the following:

• Helmet - Special Application (SA) Rated
• Racing Suit (2 layer with underware or 3 layer)
• Gloves and Shoes
• Balaclava and Socks
• Head and Neck Restraint

• Driver race equipment
• Entry fees
• Crash Damages

A full season would be reserving a race seat for all scheduled 2023 scheduled Canadian F1200 event. A partial season would mean anywhere from 2 - 5 scheduled events and lastly individual race rentals are also available. All would be on a first come first serve basis.

There are 6 races weekends in the Formula 1200 Champions Series were season points are counted. EC Motorsports can offer full season, partial season, and individual race rentals.
